Redcar and Cleveland Council has dedicated a pot of funding to delivering projects that will encourage residents to get active.
As part of the plan, through traffic on Wilton Lane, between Guisborough and Wilton will be reduced, turning the road into a quiet lane for walking, horse riding and cycling.
This link will allow cyclists to safely join the National Cycle Route 1 network from the Wilton industrial site to Redcar’s town centre.
