Redcar and Cleveland Council is currently reviewing its Rights of Way Plan for the next five years.
Ian Tait, the council’s countryside officer, will be attending our next committee meeting in March to make sure the views of local horse riders are considered.
We will be highlighting bridleways in need of repair such as Saltburn Gill, St Germain’s and Quarry Lane as well as a wishlist for possible new bridleways in the area.
If members have any ideas they would like us to feed back to the council please post them on our Facebook page or email info@saltburndistrictbridleways.co.uk before the end of the month!
Please note that the council is not promising anything – funding as always is very limited – but if it’s not on the plan then it probably is not going to happen so we need to put our ideas forward!
