Missing Links Project creates and improves 6 bridleways

The opening of a new bridge over the Murk Esk – a tributary of the river Esk in the North York Moors National Park (NYMNP) – brings to an end a three year project to re-establish missing routes in the picturesque Esk Valley.

The Missing Links Project has created and improved six bridleways that all connect with public transport and has been made possible thanks to funding from the Department for Transport’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF).
